Join us for these KOR KWIR sessions at our beloved home in StoreRoom, Ta' Xbiex. Under the musical direction of Luke Saydon, KOR KWIR is a unique, safe space where everyone is welcome, regardless of their singing experience. No auditions, no experience needed, and no commitment. And anyone can join.
There are no tickets for this event, but we kindly welcome pay-what-you-can donations to support our cause.
Let's dance, let's sing, and let's celebrate our pride together.
SONGS: All our songs are mashups of big queer anthems. Every session is a new arrangement, and there is no prior learning that you need to do.
LYRICS: Lyrics will be available through a QR code on the day.
TICKET PRICE : It is a priority of ours to ensure that community sessions are always accessible. So even though we have no funding to run this session, we will still go ahead and offer it for free. Having said that there will be a tip-jar in the space where you can contribute whatever you like to the running of the session.
KOR KWIR is Malta’s first queer community choir – led by queer people, for queer people and our ally community.
Musically led by Luke Saydon this choir is a unique safe space for people to come be who they want to be, feel warmly welcomed and express themselves through the joy of music. Everyone can join KOR KWIR. It is a non-audition choir.
KOR KWIR's first season culminated in a world-class performance as part of EuroPride Valletta 2023.
